everyone is hating on my post about bryz.
don’t give a fuck.
there’s a difference between not liking somebody & calling for their trade or release, and being unhappy with their play.
i don’t like harry z, simmer or bobs.
at all. but they’re flyers, so they get my support. even if(harry z/simmer) / when(bobs) they play like shit.
was i happy with bryz’s play? fuck no.
but goalies as good as him don’t just randomly shut it down at his age. to want him cut or traded is ridiculous. maybe it’s b/c i played for so long, but i’ve always been about patience. players are human beings, they go through slumps. there’s highs and lows. you want to be on board for the highs, it’s always been my belief that you have to be on board for the lows.
and don’t tell me you all are.
maybe you specifically are an actual fan, but i wasn’t after anyone specific per se. if i’m getting shit for wearing a bryz shirt b/c he’s ‘garbage’ or i see someone blog something about bryzgalov being their baby a week after being pissed off that he wasn’t traded, yes, i’m going to be upset.
saying ‘most’ of you may have been harsh, but i stand by the majority of my statement.

They’re the most dramatic, irrational bitches in sports fandom. God gives you a bonafide number one goalie and you crap on him all season. Despite his being a human being, who like everyone else, goes through slumps (see: Patrick Roy’s exit from Montreal.) Now, after he wins three games in a row, three, …everyone is hopping on his shit. I’m not going to say “I told you so” but… I told you so. Dude’s a beast. Next person I hear talk shit is getting hit.

I don’t believe the story about bryzgalov telling a fan that he cares too much, but even if he had.. He’s not wrong. People need to realize how fortunate we are that we are fans.of one of the most successful teams in league history. And that we could do far worse in net than bryz.
